[Pocket PDF] Gabbs Daycare Business Plan

Imagine Adriana standing in the parking lot of the center where she has worked for four years, reading an email for the third time. A family she is fond of, twins, eighteen months old, is leaving, because after eleven months on another waitlist you take the spot when it opens. She has watched this happen a dozen times in the neighbourhoods filling up faster than anyone is building rooms for their children. That afternoon she types “daycare business plan template” into her phone. This is the daycare business plan template she ended up building, and the center it paid for.

Description
The search that started this daycare business plan template
Adriana ran the toddler room, then the whole floor. She knew ratios, licensing binders, the fire marshal’s checklist, the way a health inspector walks a kitchen. What she did not have was a building of her own or the first idea how to pay for one. So she searched the way everyone in her position searches: “how to open a daycare in Nevada”, “daycare startup cost”, “free daycare business plan”. Two weeks later she had a folder full of generic documents that had clearly never met a state licensing rule, and no more clarity than when she started.
Why one center could not carry the plan
A friend from a provider group pointed her to the Momo Hero team, who build startup models for founders in the United States. She came in with one sentence: a premium play-based center in the southwest Las Vegas metro, sixty licensed spaces, the best rooms in that part of the valley. The Niche and Core Offer step was easy. Then they ran SUP, the break-even model, and the first version fell over.
A single licensed center hits a wall at its licensed capacity. Sixty children, staffing ratios that do not bend, rent on a build-out that has to pass inspection, insurance that costs what it costs. Fill every room at a premium tuition and the center still only clears a few thousand dollars a month for the founder. Worse, in month three the center would be a construction site with a licensing application pending. The target the model is built against, a thousand dollars a month in the founder’s pocket by month three and ten thousand by month twelve, was not close.
